Lakes Of Belarus:

Borovno lake is located in the territory of Beshenkovichi district of Vitebsk region and belongs to the basin of the river Chernivchanka. The area of the reservoir is 2,04 km2 with a length of 2 km and a maximum width of 1,4 km. Maximum depth of Borovno is 9,5 m. The pond has a narrow shallow water. Beaches are sand, mostly low, overgrown with shrubs and woodland, forest sites. The pond is located in gryadisto hilly, wooded, swampy terrain in places. The surrounding forests are rich in strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, cranberries and mushrooms.

Paid amateur fishing is permitted on the lake and there is commercial fishing. There are bream, pike, roach, tench, rudd, perch and other fish species.

On the shores of picturesque Lake Borovno recreation center «Krupenino» is located on the territory of which there is a beach, equipped with sun loungers, cabanas and a pier. There is also a boat station.
