Poteh lake is a member of ozeer Braslav Vitebsk region. It is located 10 km north-east of the famous town of Braslav, near the village of Slobodka. Surrounding the lake area is hilly, and in the south wooded and bushy. Almost the entire shore of the reservoir line high and closed sparse forest.
