Lepelskoe lake is located in the territory of Lepel district, Vitebsk region and is the largest pond of the district. It is owned by Ula river basin. The basin of the lake has a complex structure and consists of three parts, each of which has its own name. The northern part of the reservoir is Kustinskaya lake with prevailing depths of 10-18 m. Central and Southern parts are Gorodskoye with an average depth of 13-15 m, the deepest part of the pond is White lake. It also marked the maximum depth (33.7 m). Dominated by low and marshy shores, often covered with bushes or woods. Pond area exceeds 10 km². The length of the reservoir is 7.57 km and the largest width is 2.03 km.

In winter the lake is very picturesque and collects a lot of fans of winter fishing. The bottom of the reservoir mostly sand despite the fact that the lake has a sufficiently large depth. Right next to the shore the depth can reach even 20 meters. The lake is very popular among spinnings, there are pike and perch. The lake fishing is free, but banned fishing on the track and spearfishing.

On the shore of the lake, only 40 m there is a cozy and comfortable recreation object, boarding house «LODE». The guesthouse has a very picturesque area, due to its location on the island Ksenzova of Lepel lake, which is connected to the coast by a narrow isthmus.
