The Reservoir Drozdy is located in the north-western outskirts of Minsk on the Svisloch River. Drozdy is a part of Vileika-Minsk water system. It was formed in 1976 by a dam on the river Svisloch for technical water supply and water improvement of the city.

The Reservoir Drozdy is fed by springs. Its area is 2.1 km², length - 0.64 km. Its depth reaches 6 meters, the average depth - 2.7 m, the volume of 5.75 million m³. The shores are mainly sandy and low. There are 4 small islands. Between Zaslavsky reservoir and Drozdy there is a channel for water sports. Along the banks is a recreation area, boat station, 8-equipped beaches.

On the beaches there are changing rooms, public toilets, showers, playgrounds and a variety of outdoor cafes and stalls. If you come by car, you will have no problem with parking: around the reservoir there are two equipped car parks. The rescue station OSVOD is on duty.

Also, the reservoir is a popular place for summer and ice fishing. In Reservoir lives 10 species of fish, but most often caught is crucian, bream, bleak, perch, ruff, and sometimes you can catch carp and grass carp.
