Sozh flows through Gomel and Mogilev regions of Belarus as well as in Russia and Ukraine. It is a left tributary of Dnieper. The total length of the river is 648 km, the length of the territory of Belarus is 493 km. The main tributaries are Pronya (right), as well as Besed and Iput(left).
