Lake Gat is located in the Brest region, Baranovichi district, at 22 km from Baranovichi. The lake was created in 1930 for energy purposes, it is surrounded by picturesque woodland of the Biological Reserve of Baranovichi. It is the basin of Lohozva river.

The area of the lake is 1,26 km², length - 3,1 km, width - 0,7 km. The lake is flowing, its bottom is peat, covered with mud, the maximum depth is 4,7 m. The shores of the lake are gentle, cut up and covered with wood.

It is a popular place for rest on the lakes in Belarus. The paid recreational fishing is organized there. It is home to most of the famous Belarusian fish: carp, tench, perch, roach, pike, carp, ruff.

The beaches are equipped with cabanas, umbrellas, benches, where you can enjoy a game of volleyball on the equipped playground. Near the lake there are cozy recreation centers, where you can eat and sleep, as well as have a great time with a game of tennis or billiards, fry barbecue and relax in the bath.
