Chigirinsky reservoir is located on the border of Kirov and Bykhov districts of Mogilev region, in the floodplain of the river Drut. The area of the reservoir is 21.1 km², the length is 17 km, and the maximum width is 2.4 km. The deepest point is about 8 m, the bottom is silting. The right bank of the reservoir is high, the left is flat. There is a small island area of 0.37 km².
The reservoir was created for energy supplying of Chigirinskaya HPP, rafting and recreation. Waters flow, but despite this much overgrown. Especially this phenomenon is observed in the northern part.
