Char

Char european (Nemacheilus barbatulus) — belongs to the family of loaches. It has an elongated body, the head slightly compressed. The body is golden-yellow in color, covered with small scales on the sides and back are brown patches of irregular shapes. The caudal fin is truncated.
In Belarus, found everywhere, especially in rivers and streams. The main habitat of loaches are the upper reaches of rivers and small streams and fast flowing rocky and sandy soil. Are also found in reservoirs, lakes and flowing even in the ponds.
