Catfish spotty (Ictaluruspunctatus) — species of fishes from family of cat's som. Has the extended body which is slightly squeezed from sides. Back color dark brown, on each side small dark points. Belly light. Top of the head and fins dark. From som ordinary differs the existence of the fatty fin which has been rather truncated by an anal fin, not reaching the basis tail, existence of 4 couples short moustaches. Tail fin strongly vyemchaty, its blades are pointed at the ends.
In Belarus the area of distribution of this look gravitates to the country South as the som spotty is very choosy to water temperature under our conditions it lives in reservoirs coolers of power supply systems, warm-water ponds, pools and cages with artificial heating of water. In the lake White the warmest gravitates to a zone of thermal dumping, where water.
