Ruff (Gymnocephalus acerinus) — fish of Okunevo elongated body is different and rather elongated snout, twice or more times greater than the diameter of the eye. General body color light yellow, olive-green back, silvery belly, back and sides of the body are numerous round dark spots.
Very picky about the quality of water, so is found only in rivers with clear water and sandy soil, which include Dnieper, SOG, Berezina, Pripyat, Yaselda Gorin, bird. Spawns portions in April - May, the sandy and rocky shoals. In similar places held all summer at a depth of 1.5-2 m at the end of August goes to great depths.
