Loshanskoe Reservoir

Loshanskoe reservoir is located in Uzda district, Minsk region, 12 km to the South-East of Uzda. This reservoir was created in 1968 on the river Losha in firefighting purposes - around the peat and for fish farming. Loshanskoe belongs to Neman river basin.

The area of water surface is 3.45 km². Maximum depth of the reservoir is 4.5 m, the length - 3 km and a maximum width of 1.8 km. The area around the reservoir is flooded peat pits and ponds surrounded by pine trees. During the summer, the reservoir is partially overgrown by aquatic vegetation. The bottom is mostly sandy, flat and leveled, but in some areas there are grooves in the form of pits and ditches. The coastline is indented and forms several bays and islands on the West.

Loshanskoe Reservoir - a popular place for fishermen and lovers of outdoor activities. There are the following types of fish: pike, bream, catfish, perch, roach, carp, rudd, bleak, ruff and the famous crayfish. After a successful fishing or just have fun with your friends, you can make yourself comfortable in the tourist complex «Shyshki», which is located right on the shore of this amazingly beautiful water body.
