Ide

Ide (Leuciscusidus)— fish from family karpovy, has external similarity to small fry. In length the ide can reach 90 cm and 6 — 8 kg of weight, however usually its length of 30 — 50 cm, the weight of 1 kg. Lives from 15 to 20 лет.как the rule, at coast.
In Belarus it is widespread in all rivers, inundated reservoirs and lakes. In the rivers lives mainly on flat sites, adheres to deep creeks with a silent current, the rivers with a rapid current and cold water avoids. Comes into inundated lakes, staritsa, flowing lakes with clear water. Prefers sites with the clay, slightly silted soil. It has essential value as object of amateur fishery.
