Mukhavets river - the river, which is completely located within the Brest region of Belarus. Mukhavets takes its origin from the confluence of the creek channel Mucha and Wets in Pruzhany and occurs mostly Polesie. This river is the largest tributary of the river Bug Zapadny in Belarus, which is almost 2 km wide. The river is small, its length is only 113 kilometers. Its river collects water from an area of Mukhavets 6350 km 2. Mukhavets - river, wich characterized by low banks (their height is less than two meters) in some places steep. The slopes of the river valley plain, which contributes to their active waterlogging. All the southern and south-eastern part of the catchment area of the river is occupied by low-lying swamps, however, some of them now drained. Mukhavets River - is one of the best places for fishing. The river is home to all kinds of river fish Belarus: asp, catfish, perch, pike, bream, perch, white-eyed, blue bream, roach and bream.
