The lake Nevido is located in the Polotsk district, Vitebsk region, 28 km to South-West from Polotsk and belongs to the river's basin Nacha. The area of the lake is mostly hilly and covered with scrub and woodland. In the East and South the lake is surrounded by a thick pine forest, and at the water's edge are growing willow and alder. The surrounding forests are rich in all kinds of berries, mushrooms and hazelnuts.

The mirror area of the lake is about 1.18 km², its length - 1.9 km, maximum width - 0.82 km. The maximum depth of Nevido is 13 m and the length of the coastline is about 5.25 km. Beach is sandy, predominantly low and overgrown with shrubs and woodland. The bottom of the lake is mainly sandy off the coast, but deeper it becomes clay and silt. Lake vegetation grows slightly.

The lake is very attractive for fishing. Here in the shallows off the coast near the narrow strip of seaweed is located excellent place for fishing. The lake is home to bream, pike, roach, tench, rudd, pike, perch and crayfish. For true lovers of fishing there is organized paid recreational fishing.
For adherents of active rest in the fresh air and the real fans of Belarusian nature is located recreation center «Nevido» on the west bank of this amazingly beautiful lake. This place is ideal for youth rest in a building and in a quiet family houses. Facilities of the recreation center include two baths, a gazebo for barbecue and a small beach.
